Hi, I’m Christophe — a maths teacher and the person behind Past Paper Penguin.

I’ve been teaching Maths for more than 15 years, in the UK and internationally, and I’ve worked in roles including Head of Department, Head of Year and Senior Leadership.

Why did I make PPP?

I kept seeing the same problem with my students: they needed practice with a particular topic, but finding the right Cambridge exam questions meant trawling through years of past papers.

So I started doing the tedious bit myself — finding the questions, sorting them by topic and writing the worked solutions.

Eventually I thought, if my students find this useful, why not make it available to everyone?

And that’s how Past Paper Penguin started.

I still run the site around my normal teaching job, so everything you find here has been made by a practising teacher and put together in my spare time.

A small favour

PPP is free, and the site is supported by advertising. If you find it useful, the best thing you can do is tell another student or teacher about it — or link to it from your own website.

And please don’t re-upload the resources elsewhere. Apart from making it harder for students to find the original site, that takes away from the small amount of advertising revenue that helps keep PPP going.

Anyway, that’s me. I hope PPP makes revising Maths a little less painful.
